I’ve been working in radio since 2014 starting at community radio station, Inspiration FM in Northampton. I soon began to work closely with BBC Radio Northampton and joined national radio station, BBC Asian Network in 2015.
I began my radio training as an intern through the Creative Access industries programme and started full time employment with the BBC in 2016. Since then I’ve been a part of Asian Network’s production team working across legendary shows from Noreen Khan, Bobby Friction, Preeya Kalidas, Raj and Pablo to launching brand new programmes like comedian Guz Khan, YouTuber Parle Patel and BAFTA award winning Mobeen Azhar.
My expertise in radio production introduced me to radio presenting, hosting my first radio show on BBC Northampton on 5th June 2016. Since then I have presented on BBC Radio Northampton, BBC Radio London and appeared as a regular voice on BBC Asian Network mainly on The Late Night Mobeen Azhar Show.
